PICKLEBALL: Beginner Learn and Play
Instruction supervised and provided by IPTPA/USPTA, Certified Instructors for adult beginners. Learn basic paddle skills, shots, doubles rules and tactics. Learn to set up and manage play. Group instruction: Minimum 6 - Maximum 12 per class. (16 at Casamento Park). Adults 18 and over.
Equipment is provided. Players are encouraged to bring their own Pickleball paddles.

PICKLEBALL: Organized Open Play
Matches takes place with organized rotations. Guidance on scoring, rules, serving, rotating and general play will be provided. No instruction. Players need to know fundamentals, rules and scoring. Adults 18 and over.

PICKLEBALL: Tournament
Summer 2024
Registration is FILLED - Waiting list only.
Town of Islip.
Teams will be placed randomly into a ladder and each week regrouped based on standings. 1-3,
4-6, 7-9, & 10-12 etc. You may play same teams multiple times throughout the league depending
on ladder breakdown which goes by win percentage. First 6 weeks will be league play. Week 7
will be a tournament for everyone. You may sub your players each game. You will play as many
games as possible in the 2-hour time slot. If you win, you stay on. After 2 games, you sit one.
3 Teams Per Court - 24 Teams Maxed
7 weeks long - 6 weeks of League, 1 week Tournament

About Levels:
The following information is provided to help players place themselves in the correct class level.
Beginner Classes

Adv. Beginner Classes
Learn next level paddle skills, shots, doubles rules and tactics. Game play every session.
Players must provide own equipment.
Please note: Advanced beginners have some playing experience, know Pickleball rules and how to score and is ideal for players who have taken Islip and Smithtown beginner classes.
